The terms that govern Drew's service to you. Plain English. Governed by the law of England and Wales.
1. Introduction
These terms govern the service Drew provides to you. By signing up, paying an invoice, or otherwise instructing Drew to begin work, you agree to them. They're written in plain English so you can read them properly — but they form a legally binding contract between you and Drew.
We've kept them as short as we reasonably can while covering what matters. If you have a question, email hello@drewautomations.co.uk before you sign up.
2. Definitions
"Drew", "we", "us", "our" — the UK trading name and entity providing the services described on drewautomations.co.uk.
"Client", "you", "your" — the business or individual who has signed up for a Drew service.
"The Services" — the website build, monthly SEO, business email, lead capture and lead delivery, hosting and ongoing management described on our website and confirmed in your sign-up.
"Subscription" — the recurring monthly fee for the ongoing services.
"Site" — the website Drew builds and hosts on your behalf.
3. The services
Drew provides a bundled service for UK trade businesses, comprising:
A custom-built website tailored to your trade.
Monthly SEO work — page tweaks, content, schema, keyword targeting and performance improvements.
A business email mailbox set up on your domain.
Lead capture wired into your site (forms, click-to-call, click-to-email).
Lead delivery — submitted leads are routed to your email and your phone.
Hosting, security patching, daily backups and ongoing maintenance.
The exact scope of what Drew will deliver in any given month is described on our website and confirmed during onboarding. We may improve, adjust or replace components of the service over time, provided the overall value to you is maintained or improved.
4. Onboarding & timeline
We aim to take your site live within 7 to 14 days of your discovery call, provided you supply the content, photos and approvals we ask for in a timely manner. If we can't go live inside 14 days because we're waiting on something from you, the timeline pauses until we have what we need.
5. Fees, billing & payment
The Subscription fee is the amount agreed at sign-up, plus VAT where applicable.
Billing is monthly in advance, by card, on the same day each month.
You authorise Drew (and our payment processor) to charge your card automatically each month until you cancel.
If a payment fails, we'll retry and email you. After 7 days of non-payment we may pause your service until the account is settled.
We may increase the Subscription fee with at least 30 days' written notice. You're free to cancel before any increase takes effect.
6. Cancellation & refunds
You can cancel at any time by emailing hello@drewautomations.co.uk. We require 30 days' notice from the date we receive your cancellation.
You'll be billed normally during the notice period and your service continues to run.
We don't issue partial-month refunds. The most recent monthly payment covers the month it was paid for and is non-refundable.
On cancellation, you keep your domain (it's been in your name from day one). We'll provide a final export of your site contents on request.
Hosting, business email and ongoing SEO work stop at the end of the notice period.
7. Your obligations
You agree to:
Provide accurate information about your business, services and area.
Supply content, photos, logos and approvals when reasonably requested.
Respond to leads we deliver to you in a reasonable time — Drew can't guarantee outcomes if you don't.
Keep your billing details up to date.
Not pass off Drew's work as your own creative output to third parties.
8. Domain & ownership
Your domain is registered in your name from day one — even if Drew handles the registration on your behalf. You own it. We use the domain for hosting your site and your business email while you're a client. If you cancel, you keep the domain.
On request at cancellation, Drew will provide a full export of your site (HTML, assets, content) so you can host it elsewhere.
9. Content & intellectual property
Your content (text, photos, logos you give us) — remains yours. You give Drew a licence to use it for the purpose of building and running your site.
Drew's components (templates, code patterns, internal tooling) — remain Drew's intellectual property. While you're a client, you have a non-exclusive licence to use them as part of your live site.
Final delivered site — when you cancel, you keep the rendered site files for your own use. Reusable Drew templates, source code patterns and internal tooling stay with Drew.
SEO work and content we write for you — yours to keep on the site after cancellation.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Services for:
Anything illegal under UK law.
Misleading or fraudulent advertising.
Content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or rights.
Activities that breach UK consumer protection or advertising standards.
Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam) from the business email mailbox we provide.
Drew may suspend or terminate your account immediately if we reasonably believe these terms are being breached. We'll explain why if we do.
11. Service availability
We aim for 99.9% uptime on hosted sites and email, monitored by our hosting provider. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service — outages can happen due to provider faults, internet issues, planned maintenance or events outside our reasonable control.
Where an outage is caused by Drew or our chosen providers and lasts more than 24 consecutive hours, we'll credit your next invoice pro-rata for the time affected, on request.
12. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability where it can't legally be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Otherwise, Drew's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or connected to the Services is capped at the amount you have paid Drew in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost business opportunities, lost goodwill or lost data, even if those losses were foreseeable.
Drew makes no guarantee about the number of leads or jobs you'll receive. We do our best, but the variables (your area, your trade, your responsiveness, market conditions) sit largely outside our control.
13. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement:
With 30 days' notice, in writing, for any reason (see section 6).
Immediately if the other party materially breaches these terms and fails to fix it within 14 days of being told.
Immediately if the other party becomes insolvent.
14. Confidentiality & data
Each party agrees to keep the other's confidential information confidential, both during and after the agreement. How Drew handles personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be flagged by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
16. Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
